Boleslaw Erzepki

(July 5, 1852 in Pawlowice near Leszno, died. March 27, 1932 in Poznań) was a Polish historian of cultu re, titular professor at Poznan University, corresponding member of PAU. He was the son of Joseph (gardener) and Rozalia from Szcz epańskich. He was educated at school in Leszno, then studied Slavonic studies and history at the University of Breslau (1875-1884). From 1877-1885 he practiced while in the Municipal Library in Wrocław, in 1885 he earned a Ph.D. at the University of Breslau on the work of Der Text der kritisch Gnesener Predigten beleuchtet.
